Meanwhile, here is a taste: The “Real” Illegal Aliens possess a backstory: Despite being fugitives sought on their home planet and pursued by authorities and bounty hunters, circumstances are not as straightforward as they appear. The true narrative diverges: their sole misdeed was aiding Vael's brother in eloping with his fiancée. Regrettably, the bride was the daughter of a despot and a vindictive father who ruled the region with an iron fist. 

After a Bounty Hunter had found them on Earth, they knew they had to return to their home world to “Restore” their honor and right a terrible wrong. Funding for the return journey was not an issue; however, constructing an interstellar spaceship presented significant challenges. 

Although the plans were available, the essential compound required to power the FTL-capable engine was lacking. Moreover, more than half of the original crew were content to remain on Earth, purportedly to manage their worldwide enterprise. Nevertheless, assembling a crew would not pose a problem, as enough members of his inner circle had volunteered to accompany him.
